LaCrosse All-Purpose 4-H Club
The LaCrosse All Purpose 4-H club was started in 1993. The oldest member at that time was in 5th grade.
The club has evolved
into a hard working group, full of great kids, who are having fun learning to be future leaders. The club meets
all together on the first Tuesday of each month at the Pit. For information on the club contact the over-all
leader Tricia Aune (509) 549-3403.
The club has run the LaCrosse Recycling Center since 1994. The center
accepts newspaper, tin, aluminum, pop bottles, glass, and milk jugs. The club also has a door to door pick-up
service with 30 customers. For more information on Tin Can Alley contact Tricia Aune (509) 549-3403.
Our 4-H club offers programs in 9 projects. Beef, Cooking, Crafts, Hogs, Horse Showing, Jr.
Teen Leader, Photography, Rabbits, and Woodworking. Each project has a separate leader who sets up
individual group meetings. Besides projects the club also plans several group activities each year including
an Awards Banquet, Picnic, Christmas Party, and other tours or trips.
In October the club holds an open house
to invite new members to join our club. At this time we set out sign-up sheets for each project. Meeting
dates and location will be posted around town.
