A MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR: LaCrosse, located in southwest Whitman County, started when two railroads formed a
junction in 1888 -- then came a section house, a store, and the town. It was incorporated in 1917.
LaCrosse is 90 miles south of Spokane, 85 miles north of Walla Walla, 88 miles northeast of the Tri-Cities, and 86 miles northwest of Lewiston, Idaho, and 46 miles west of Pullman. In 1996, LaCrosse celebrated its 100 year anniversary. The town... Click to read more |
